Description:
Stress and psychological resilience have lost balance due to many daily internal and external factors. Evidence suggests that mental health can impact disordered eating, physical activity, and weight status. Developmental trajectories for obesity from childhood to adulthood continue to rise rapidly. Therefore it is crucial to develop tools to regain control of the mind. It is imperative to recognize that there is a fine line between a stress reaction and mood disorders. When stress becomes difficult to manage on an acute level, it can progress to a chronic state, leading to medical conditions. In this webinar, we will learn how to detangle the Mind- Map and build resilience through various mind-body principles as well as self-care interventions to help manage stress and enhance the quality of life.
Objectives:
1. Identify the connection between stress and physical or emotional problems
2. Utilize the power of positive thinking and use mindfulness to fulfill life's purpose.
3. Recognize the importance of healthy eating, restorative sleep, and physical activity.
4. Apply various techniques to elicit the relaxation response, the body's natural stress buffer.
